Diamonds and Gents let me start by saying happy New Year! 

James Avery passed at 68 from complications of open heart surgery.  James Avery had surgery November 11 and died Tuesday (December 31st) evening at a hospital in Glendale, California, according to Benson.

He was best known for his patriarch role in Fresh Prince of Bel Air as Uncle Phil.  My love and condolences go out to his family.

Qawmane 24, was charged with first degree murder and home invasion.  He cleared her bank account out in the sum total of $90,000 also for her two insurance policies which he was named to be the sole beneficiary.
