Good Morning, Diamonds and Gents!  I am so excited to say I finally understand what I've been praying since I was a child.  One day, I was standing in front of this picture my Mom had on the wall.  It was the Foot prints poem.  Anyway, I was 8 years old.  When I read it I understood it.  But, what made me pray for God to open the eyes of my understanding. Was when the man that cried out to God didn't understand. He said when he looked back over his life and he notice there was only one set of footprints in the sand.  He notice it was at the toughest times in his life.  He didn't get it, or even understand that those were the times God himself had to carry him through those times.  Right then, I was standing there as a little girl and my prayer was for God to open the eyes of my understanding. While, walking University Village strip. I ran across De Pasada.  Now Diamonds and Gents y'all know I love Mexican food.  But, this was a family own and operated spot.  When, you walk in the door you have to seat yourself.  So don't be looking to be seated. Because I wasn't sure. The salsa she brought to the table was so good salsa Verde as well. SO GOOD! Home made chips. Not store bought.   After you do that make sure you order Steak.  Carne Asada dinner.  Or tacos or tostada's because you just have to taste it. That steak was so tender aw my Jesus! The food is cooked right in the front or side you LOL. So you seating at the table and literally can look over and see my boy stirring up some stuff.  Overall, the food was good healthy size portions.   And very inexpensive. The waitress brought your food in a timely matter.  It has wheel chair lift. Hello Diamonds and Gents! I know alot of you have made New Year Resolutions.  Well, that's OK.  But, I started mine early.  I started in August after realizing how much potatoes ruled my life.  I literally would not eat food in hopes to eat potatoes.  Well, my body really wasn't responding well.  I start to bleed for days at a time.  Until, one day I talk to Dr. Kamillah Stevenson who then let me know Houston you have a problem.  I stop eating potato chips, potatoes and any potato products for 40 days.  I broke the habit.  I could go in a store now and not go directly for chips.  Doing this I lost my 1st 15 pounds. After, I realized how much progress I could make.  I start using Organo Gold products which have Ganoderma in them the rest is history.  40 pounds lighter that's history.  Now I still eat potato chips and fries but it is a every now and then.  Not, like before.  I crave healthier foods now. I don't drink tap water, I eat more raw foods and even still e
